I’m Joana, a lisboeta in love with our planet and with carefully handcrafted products.
For the last four years, I’ve been running Sente Senas, a Portuguese lab that develops organic beauty products. They’re healthy, natural, and fresh, exactly like the plants that go into them.
My relationship with plants is a long one - I’ve always been vegetarian -, but it got stronger as I took up yoga in my teens. I fell in love with hibiscus, lavender, and horsetail, three main ingredients I still use in my cosmetics.
I started spending less time in supermarkets and more in my kitchen, learning more about how plants keep us stronger, happier, and healthier.
Today I use the kitchen for veggie burgers, my main culinary specialty. I moved my work to a complete lab, full of smells, colors, and good spirits, where I macerate oils, make blends, or pack cosmetics. That's where you'll mostly find me, taking care of our bodies, our souls, and our Earth, with zero chemicals and, of course, lots of love.
